Delightful Crocosmia (a.k.a. Montbresia) is in full bloom, while we are enjoying plenty of sunshine here in the Northwest. They are easy to grow from corms (similar to bulbs), they thrive in full sun and will come back year after year. The plants grow from 2-4' high and the blooms are similar to freesia. There is also an orange version and a scarlet red variety called "Lucifer" ~ Devil's Flower! Link here for more information.
