Rose of Sharon...aka Hybiscus Syriacus, a late summer garden delight. This flowering shrub can grow 8'-10' tall. They love full sun and well-drained soil. The large blooms range in color from red to pink to lavender. You can see more varieties here. My personal favorites are the white ones. If you look closely, you can see a honey bee gathering pollen.
In the late evening, the blooms almost glow...Gorgeous!

Oregon truly does have some beautiful scenery and flowers. The ones you shared today are lovely. With all the rain, most plants do well. Thanks for visiting.
